![]() I have only had this Mac Pro for roughly 2 weeks, and I understand that it takes time for each computer to learn your patterns and effectively cache memory based on what you do, but I would like to know if there's a way to manually allocate RAM at any given time. I'm asking to see if there are any 1st/3rd party programs or Terminal commands that can allow me to manually allocate more RAM to a specific program. I haven't seen a noticeable improvement yet. The only thing I have tried so far is "Prevent App Nap" an option under most 1st party apps that disables App Nap.
